Image

Denleigh was appointed by a regional developer of luxury homes to supply bespoke internal doors and architectural ironmongery for a luxurious £2.1m five-bedroom new home on the South Coast.

Situated on the prestigious Hook Park Estate in Warsash, this spectacular new bespoke five-bedroom property harmoniously combines fine architectural detailing with sophisticated interiors. Thoughtfully designed over three floors to provide 5,984ft of exceptional accommodation, the home incorporates a high specification of fixtures and fittings, external architecture and a grand portico. The property's location, a stone’s throw from the Hamble river and a nature reserve with its myriad of footpath’s, means it is set in a particularly desirable location.

Bespoke Panel Doors

After working closely with the developer on the product selection process, the TRAD 600 paneled door from our Denpremo TRADitional range was chosen, pre-finished in a stunning black stained oak veneer. The nostalgic elegance of the TRAD600 is exemplified through its 2-panel design with raised and fielded panels, decorative moulding and circular beading either side of the meeting rail.

Twenty-one doors in five made-to-measure sizes were supplied in total including bespoke oversized doors to the principle reception rooms, creating a feeling of space and grandeur for this impressive high-end property. Each door has a thickness of 45mm giving it a solid high-quality feel and twelve of the doors were supplied as FD30 fire doors, providing enhanced fire protection to vulnerable areas.

Oversized Doors

The entrance hall laid with its designer tiles features a solid pair of TRAD600 bespoke over-sized doors  leading to a sizeable lounge with dual aspect that overlooks the magnificent gardens. A pair of glazed TRAD601 doors featuring two panes of flat clear toughened glass were supplied for the entrance from the hallway to a large open-plan kitchen / family area which extends to over 8 metres, which is equipped with the latest appliances. An additional pair of glazed doors leads to the dining room allowing natural light to brighten the internal space and providing a seamless transition from each room.

Handles & Ironmongery

Denleigh also supplied the architectural ironmongery for this project, providing the developer with a total solution for the property’s internal doorways. To match the nostalgic elegance of the doors, Art Deco style lever handles in polished chrome with stepped edged detail were specified, along with compatible ironmongery consisting over 180 items from hinges and mortice latches to sash locks and floor sockets.

Our extensive experience in the provision of bespoke doors and ironmongery for similar luxury developments allowed us to offer advice and support throughout to keep this development on track and ensure full customer satisfaction.
