PAS24 apartment entrance doors, communal doors and a full suite of matching ironmongery was supplied by Denleigh for a new development of luxury apartments in Cockfosters, North London.

The seven spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments were completed to a high specification by a leading developer; each one having a contemporary open-plan layout, two underground parking spaces and access to its own private outside space. The exceptional quality of finish along with its superb location, with easy rail access to central London, further boosts the desirability of this modern development.

PAS24 apartment entrance doors

MOD-452 flush doors from our Denpremo collection were chosen for the entrance to each apartment. Finished in our popular Ashen veneer, these doors feature an angled grain direction which adds interest and depth to the door surface.

In addition to great looks the doors are manufactured to PAS24 security standards, offering a high level of protection from burglary attack through a reinforced design with integral multi-point locking. To comply with fire regulations, the PAS24 doors are also FD30 fire rated and were supplied as a doorset with frames and compatible ironmongery, including key thumb, spy viewer and dropdown seal.

Communal doors

Denleigh supplied 16 fire rated communal doors for the apartments to a flush design, a number of which included a glazed panel. These doors were supplied white primed.

Handles and Ironmongery

Denleigh supplied a comprehensive ironmongery package for doors throughout the apartments consisting of some 829 individual items. The client chose the LR250 lever handle from our Denpremo range in a dual polished chrome & burnt nickel finish, providing a lovely contrast against the dark brown surface of the doors. This handles design is also well suited to the developments contemporary style.

Fire rated hardware in a matching finish was provided for fire doors including grade 11 ball bearing hinges, 76m mortice latch and DC324 door closers. Other ironmongery included escutcheons, cylinder pulls, turn and release, door stops, as well as push plates and safety signage for communal doors.

To save time on-site Denleigh scheduled deliveries by apartment number and location, ensuring the fitters had everything required to start work immediately. The developer also benefited from dedicated project management via our team, leading to a successful build and full customer satisfaction.
